It Never Hurts to Ask
You work with many people, serving clients with full bookkeeping services and also training those who want to learn to manage the books on their own. Friendships are formed, respect is mutually earned, and sometimes you don't really connect again after the business transaction.
But it is important to ask for a review, or a recommendation. It's the best way for potential customers to get an idea of how it is to work with you.
We all get the auto-generated "Please take our survey" email. But if surveys just won't work in your business, what do you do? Be sure to request the review and make it easy for your client to follow a link to whatever platform you prefer - or use many of them. This is how I got this wonderful gem:
Moral of the story: Don't be afraid to ask! Have a happy day!
